About
This online course is designed as a supplement to the practical OFF-LEAD workshop. Together, they give you the tools to better understand and manage those everyday moments when dogs meet — on walks in the woods, passing on the trail, or greeting in open spaces. We’ll explore: • Dog body language – spotting the small signals that tell you how your dog (and others) are really feeling • The unwritten rules of dog meetings – what dogs expect from each other, and how we can support safe, calm interactions • Proximity and space – teaching your dog when it’s okay to approach and when to hang back • Recall and attention – building a response you can rely on, even around distractions • Management strategies – practical steps to avoid conflict and set your dog up for success
